I believe it is important not to interrupt mental health treatment during times of added stress and uncertainty. To continue providing therapy in a safe manner, I’ve implemented some systems to help keep us all healthy:

  1. Offering HIPAA compliant virtual appointments or phone appointments for all sessions including couples and groups;

  2. I encourage clients who are feeling ill, who have come into contact with someone who has been ill in the past 14 days or have recently travelled to an area experiencing a high incidence of Coronavirus, or if you or a family member are immunocompromised to take advantage of this telehealth option. If you have experience with any of the above and would prefer an in-person session, please reschedule your appointment until you are symptom free or 14 days after you experience symptoms consistent with COVID-19.

  3. Please wash your hands upon arriving at the office and again before you leave. As I will before and after each session, it may take me a little more time than usual in between sessions.

  4. If you choose, you may wait in your vehicle until your appointment time and I can respond to your text when it’s time to come in.

Due to these measures, I don’t think it’s necessary to interrupt your therapy. I look forward to continuing holding space for you whether in-person or virtually.
