Under the law, health care providers need to give patients and clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
My self-pay and uninsured rate is $135 per therapy session up to 60 minutes for individual, couples, and family counseling. If you schedule an extended therapy session with me — greater than 60 minutes — expect to pay $135 + a pro-rated rate of $20 per 10 minute increment. If you choose to use insurance your fee is based on your insurance’s contracted rate with me.
